ISL07: Hallgrímskirkja
For the last entry, I told you I will introduce you Hallgrímskirkja.
Hallgrímskirkja is Lutheran church, the sixth tallest structure in Iceland. (Maybe the tallest structure in Reykjavík.) This church was designed by Guðjón Samúelsson, the famous Icelandic architect. It’s a landmark of Reykjavík standing near downtown. There is a monument Leif Ericson who is the first European to land in North America, before around 500 years of Columbus’ arrival.
I’ve seen it was very wonderful day… no cloud and sunshine. So, I invited my friends to go to Hallgrímskirkja. But nobody can go with me. My pabbi and I went to there. This was my first time in my life in church!!!
Let’s see some photos… (YES!!! this is the end of this entry now. HAHAHA!)
I Forgot, when I’ve been there. There was a restoration…
